Valentine’s Day Menù
Like every year, restaurant La Cantina loves celebrating the most romantic day of the year with a selection of special dishes.
Whether you are a young couple, or whether your love story is a beautiful journey begun many years ago… La Cantina Restaurant will satisfy your “lovers” palates.
Here you can find our proposals:
Starters
Goat cheese and pistachios mousse with strawberry tartare, chives and crispy bread slivers
Rice pie with small vegetables caponata and lake prawns cooked with brandy
Chianina meat (Igp) Carpaccio marinated with aromatic herbs and served with violet cabbage
and thyme mayonnaise
First courses
Pumpkin and apples cream with “amaretti” biscuits crumble and cinnamon
Risotto with wild fruits, orange peels and dark chocolate slivers
Chestnuts ravioli with pecorino cheese fondue, artichokes and Cinta Senese bacon
Second courses
Trout fillet with citrus flavour, pistachios and artichokes pie with marjoram
Chianina meat (Igp) stew cooked with Gamay del Trasimeno wine and apples
served with Sechuan black pepper and chocolate fondue
Grilled and sliced beef flavored with rosemary and served with red potatoes,
white chocolate, oranges and pink peppers cream (for 2 persons)
Dessert
Panna cotta aromatised with elder flowers accompained with raspberry coulis
Bavarois of oranges and cinnamon with cocoa hearts
Sponge cake “bruschetta” with strawberry tartare, balsamic vinegar and whipped cream
Fruit strudel with vanilla ice cream
Chocolate cake with chantilly cream of mascarpone and coffee
