La Cantina is a typical restaurant, which offers dishes from Umbria and Tuscany tradition: meat and lake fish specialties.

Located in the historical center of Castiglione del Lago, during Summer guests can enjoy their meals sitting outside in the beautiful garden overlooking the lake, where one can smell the scent of jasmine and blooming flowers.
The restaurant is located in a historical building of XVI century and is in the main street of the historical center of Castiglione del Lago. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the restaurant with its historical rooms and antique arches, barrels and original mole keeps alive its historical roots and testifies transformation activities of rural typical productions that were held here.
The cuisine is mainly based on local traditional dishes, for this reason a special attention goes to the quality and characteristics of the raw materials used for their preparation. Our meat is certified IGP Chianina and Cinta Senese which is worked only by hand, both come exclusively from the countryside between Umbria and Tuscany, so such as legumes and cereals..
We use mostly homemade pasta and the fish comes from our lake. The fish capture depends on the season availability in compliance with the reproduction cycles.
